Set of conveyors for a waste processing plant
Summary:
Production and reconditioning of a set of conveyors for a waste processing plant (production including a platform, a chute and a frame). The assembly was installed by Benne SA.
Technical description:
This set of conveyors is used to process, separate and split waste while allowing the conveyors and belts to be cleaned.
- Inclined low-angle conveyor with rubber belt screwed to metal slat aprons attached to two lateral chains (inclined length 7,350 mm). Complete pit equipment: reinforced platform at floor level, side protection sheets, fixed ladder for pit access, hatches etc.
- High-angle belt conveyor. High-angle cleated belts: 13,600 mm x 1,400 mm, high-angle horizontal length 2,250 mm.
- Straight inclined belt conveyor – or low angle (12,000 x 1,000 mm), overband zone + overband support frame.
- Special tapered chute with triangular welded and folded sheet steel guides to spread the waste at the end of the conveyor. Horizontal spread from 1,000 to 2,000 mm
- Modification of an existing conveyor (shortening, reconditioning sheeting on the frame, more accessories, sorting station chute, selection sheets, separation tracks, shock absorber). Working belt width of 1,600 mm.
- Modification of an existing conveyor: shortening, replacing belts, fixing accessories, hoppers, edges)
- Straight conveyor (5,500 x 1,200 m): one or two-person lateral sorting station
- Straight horizontal reversible belt conveyor (belt pushed in the case of reverse operation towards box). Working belt width of 1,000 mm (8,000 x 1,000 mm)
- Modification of an existing conveyor, trough belt 400×800 mm, pushed belt for use in both directions.
- Inclined low-angle conveyor with rubber belt screwed to metal slat aprons attached to two lateral chains (belt: 800×1,200 mm).
- Support platform assembly, load-bearing structures made of HEA or HEB steel profiles
- SINEX screen frame + output chute for long products at the end of the Benne conveyor.
Application:
This system, consisting of several conveyors, can be used to process waste but also other products (e.g. bottling, processing different parts etc.).
