Transporting pallets carrying bulk bags of asphalt
Project summary:
Conveyor system consisting of two lines supplying bulk bags of asphalt (approx. 1 t), with empty pallets recycled underneath, and a line for grouping and stacking empty pallets at the end of the line.
Technical description of the project:
Phase 1: roller conveyor for bulk bags + pallet recycling
- 3 heavy-duty driven roller conveyors with different dimensions
Phase 2: chain conveyor for pallet recycling
- Multi-lane pallet conveyor with chains equipped with cleats
Phase 4: Line stacker for pallet recycling
– Pallet type: 1200x800x135 & 1200x1200x120 pallets
– Arrival of pallet stacks: Widthwise, i.e. 1200 side in front
– Maximum pallet stack capacity: 14 pallets
– Pneumatic operation.
– All sensors and human-machine safety included.
– Pallet return: picked up by forklift truck.
