Initially specialising in gas lighting when it was founded in 1919, BENNE then moved into the manufacture of carding combs for the regional textile industry. It wasn’t until 1985 that BENNE became BENNE S.A., specialising in the manufacture of conveyor belts and transmission belts. Five years later, the engineers at BENNE S.A. designed and produced conveyor systems for the first time, to meet the expectations of the company’s customers.

Since it was founded, BENNE S.A. has continued to gain experience and develop its know-how in the design of industrial conveyors built to meet customer expectations in relation to their specifications. Through its experience and know-how, BENNE S.A. is now in a position to secure preferred partnerships with all companies seeking to embark on an industrial conveyor system project.

Research and development to serve industrial handling

We have invested heavily in our R&D department to develop our expertise in industrial logistics and enhance the skills of our engineers in designing conveyor systems suited to all sectors of activity. Our investment in research and development has resulted in a significant expansion of our Design Office, intended to strengthen our expertise and our ability to develop conveyor solutions tailored to your needs. Our Design Office engineers design all the industrial conveyors in our range.

In the design office, there are project managers (who monitor and support the projects of major customers) and draughtsmen who design all the projects, but there are no engineers!

Engineers have a department in their own right, the Engineering Department.

The draughtsmen design the project, the engineers provide a project costing for the customer and the project managers monitor the project from A to Z;

To make it easier to produce our conveyors, we have grouped all our services together in a single 10,000 m2 building, built in-house by our engineers.

No, conveyors are made by everyone, not just engineers. The design of a conveyor involves all departments. The engineers simply provide a costing to the customer.

Designed to meet our own industrial handling requirements, this industrial site enables us to design all the equipment on which we claim expertise, including conveyor belts, transmission belts, belt conveyors and, more generally, all the conveying systems we are qualified to produce.

All our industrial conveyors are designed and manufactured in-house by qualified engineers in our workshops. Not just them !!!! Every conveyor we make is the result of several years of research and development. This in-depth work enables us to deliver conveyor systems that are perfectly suited to your industrial logistics needs.

Our upstream research and development work means we are able to control every stage in the manufacture of our industrial conveyors, guaranteeing their reliability for decades to come. Once designed by our engineers in our Design Office, ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT our conveyors are then manufactured and assembled in our workshops in Castres, so that we can check their quality. To ensure that your production runs smoothly, we assemble the conveyors directly on your industrial site. A test run is carried out on our premises, followed by installation on customer premises, but we assemble almost all our project in full on our premises. We also provide dedicated technical support so that you can obtain appropriate assistance in the event of a problem with one of your conveyors.

BENNE S.A., specialising in the design of tailor-made conveyors to meet your industrial logistics needs

Thanks to our expertise in industrial logistics, we can offer a wide choice of industrial conveyors, whether you choose a standard conveyor from the standard range or a tailor-made conveyor designed specifically for your company’s needs.

Among the conveyors in our standard range are belt conveyors, modular belt conveyors, gravity or motorised roller conveyors, slat band chain conveyors and handling chain conveyors.

Depending on your logistical requirements or your specific industrial handling needs, a standard conveyor may not quite meet your expectations. In this case, we can design tailor-made industrial conveyors that are perfectly suited to your requirements for the safe transport of your goods.

All our belt conveyors are designed from 3D models that can be configured in terms of length, width, and height to adapt to the specific needs of your activity. Benefit from turnkey conveyor solutions that meet all your industrial logistics objectives.

BENNE S.A., experts in industrial logistics, whatever your field of activity

Our expertise in industrial logistics systems has enabled us to supply industrial conveyors suited to all sectors of activity, whatever their conveying requirements. This enables us to create conveyor solutions tailored to:

  • The industrial boilermaking and mechanical engineering sectors
  • The agriculture and food sector
  • The pharmaceutical sector
  • The packaging sector
  • The bottling sector
  • The machinery sector
  • The waste treatment sector
  • The cardboard sector
  • The automotive sector
  • The chemical industry sector
  • The textile and laundry sector
  • The timber industry sector

Our conveyors for the agriculture-food sector have been designed to comply with all the standards and restrictions relating to this sector, particularly with in terms of food contact with machinery. Our conveyors for the agriculture-food industry have been manufactured:

  • To eliminate retention points
  • With conveyor belts that can be dismantled very quickly to facilitate cleaning.
  • Using bead-blasted stainless steel for daily hygienic cleaning to prevent corrosion
  • With belts that meet CE standards for food contact

Our conveyors for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries are specially designed for easy maintenance, to comply with the strict hygiene standards in force in these sectors. The standard or made-to-measure conveyors we design for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries are designed to facilitate the work of your operators, to ensure that your production runs smoothly.

Whatever the sector of activity for which they are intended, our industrial conveyor systems have been designed to seamlessly adapt to the characteristics of your production plant, enabling your operators to work in optimum safety conditions.

When our engineers design your industrial conveyors in our workshops, they work hard to come up with conveyor solutions to meet your structural restrictions, as well as ergonomic workstations, to improve operator working conditions by reducing their handling operations and guaranteeing their safety.
